Gilson International B.V. Deutschland

Seit 1957 ist Gilson Inc. 's World Headquarters an seinem jetzigen Standort in Middleton, Wisconsin ansässig.

PlateMaster

96 channel pipetting for 96 and 384 well plates PlateMaster is an amazingly easy to use, accurate solution for high throughput pipetting of 96 and 384 well plates. Its compact and ergonomic design means it can be used anywhere and by anyone for fast, effortless and reproducible pipetting of 96 channels. Simple Operation The manual 96-channel pipetting PlateMaster can easily be operated by everyone after an introduction of just 5 minutes. Being a manually controlled instrument there is no complicated and time-consuming programming. The operation is as easy and intuitive as with a manual pipette. Fill a plate in a single dispense! Filling of a 96-well plate requires less than 10 seconds. Loading of 384-well plates is possible without any problems in only four pipetting steps. For the first time high-throughput experiments can be performed by avoiding high costs and saving staff resources. High Accuracy and Safety By using high quality Pipetman tips an accuracy and precision level equalling an 8- or 12- channel pipette is achieved in a single motion. Additionally, the risk of double-pipetting entire rows or columns is avoided. A tailored fit Through a variety of accessories such as adapters for loading 384-well plates, reagent reservoirs or sample heater blocks, the PlateMaster can be fully adapted to your needs.

Gilson Makes Quality Affordable with PIPETMAN TIPS Diamond

Two new packaging complete now the PIPETMAN TIPS Diamond range. With always the same high quality of tips, these new packaging are designed to fit all budgets. Clean and convenient, the BLISTER REFILL is the smartest way to refill an empty TIPACK box. While the compact and easy to use RELOAD PACK ensures saving time and space on the bench. Both of these new packaging are eco-friendly: the BLISTER REFILL uses 45% less plastic than a regular rack box, and up to 70% for the RELOAD PACK. The only way to ensure precision and reproducibility across the full volume range is to use PIPETMAN micropipette with PIPETMAN TIPS Diamond. Indeed, quality pipetting with the best volumetric performance of PIPETMAN only applies when using PIPETMAN TIPS. Using pipettes and tips of the same brand allows to easily fit and remove tips, and to reduce risks of RSI. PIPETMAN TIPS Diamond in BLISTER REFILL and RELOAD PACK help you reaching the best results and make your pipetting easier. For more information and pricing, please contact your local distributor.

Gilson Launches new qPCR Assistant Software for PIPETMAX

The qPCR Assistant is a workflow-focused solution, based on the recently introduced PIPETMAX automated “lab assistant” pipetting station. Developed by molecular biologists, it puts molecular biologists in the driver’s seat by combining an intuitive user interface and versatile qPCR-focused design of experiment workflow with a familiar Gilson PIPETMAN-inside accurate automated “lab assistant”. “I created a qPCR experiment from scratch in minutes with PIPETMAX qPCR Assistant, without having to know any details about liquid handling. The PIPETMAX qPCR Assistant also instructed me on the labware positions, how and what to prepare for each run, and exported a template file for my thermocycler, which made the whole process of creating and running the protocol very time efficient. The optimized qPCR plate setup enabled method and pipetting efficiency and the method traceability provides the reassurance of reproducible results,” said David Dobnik, PhD, GMO detection lab, Department of Systems Biology and Biotechnology, National Institute of Biology, Ljubljana, Slovenia The qPCR Assistant software also generates a traceability output report that provides the experimental design details and plate locations for the thermocycler. Repeating, qPCR experiments, is simplified with a drop-down menu and selecting your previously designed method. In addition, the traceability provides an added level of electronic security helping to eliminate manual errors, maximizing reproducibility and further saving the researcher time. Whether managing 10’s or 100’s of samples, in an individual lab or across many collaborative sites, the qPCR Assistant software and PIPETMAX solution transforms qPCR experiment efficiency and reproducibility.
